Athletes of the Week - 12/01/2003

Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) of the men's basketball team recorded career highs of 17 points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots against Penn State in a 67-64 loss. At Rutgers, he added seven points and pulled down five rebounds. In three games this season, the 6-10 freshman forward leads the Bulls with a .588 shooting percentage (10-of-17) and five blocks while scoring 8.0 points per game.

 

Brooke Meunier (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) of the women's basketball team scored a career-high 23 points while also grabbing a career-best nine rebounds in a 69-65 loss at Colgate. Through two games this season, the sophomore guard leads the Bulls with 17.5 points per game and is tied for second with 5.5 rebounds per contest. She is also shooting 46.7 percent (14-of-30) from the field and has made seven of her nine free throw attempts.
