ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) of the men's basketball team averaged 19.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in three games of the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational. The junior scored 22 points and pulled down 10 boards against nationally-ranked Boston College. He then added 21 points in UB's win over Jackson State and 16 in the victory against Detroit. In five games this season, he leads the Bulls in rebounding (6.6 rpg) and is second on the team in scoring (14.2 ppg).

Barbora Homolová (Ceska Lipa, Czech Republic/Strakonice) of the women's basketball team set career highs in points (10), minutes (20), field goals (three) and free throws (four) in UB's game against Auburn. She also tied her career-best with a pair of rebounds in the contest. For the season, she is averaging 4.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game and is a perfect four-of-four from the free throw line.
