Athletes of the Week - 11/22/2004
Bryan Cummings (Cincinnati, OH/Madeira)
of the football team finished with a career-high 15
tackles, including one tackle for a loss and a forced fumble in UB's season finale at Connecticut. Cummings
finished the season with 75 total tackles and nine tackles for loss, both second on the team. In his three-year career,
the linebacker has recorded 200 tackles and 19.5 tackles for loss.
Heather Turner (West Seneca, NY/Mount Mercy
Academy) of the women's basketball team made
an immediate impact in the first two games of the season, leading the Bulls in rebounding with five against No.
4 Connecticut and seven against Holy Cross. She reached double figures in scoring against the Crusaders with
12 points. She leads the Bulls in both scoring (9.0 ppg) and rebounding (6.0 rpg) through UB's first two games.
