Athletes of the Week - 11/22/1999
Alexei Vasiliev of the men's basketball team nearly had a triple double in a 105-103 double overtime loss to Niagara (11/19) as he had 21 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. He also had 12 points and four assists in a 71-60 loss against Cornell (11/21).
Lisa Boettrich (Hilton, NY/Hilton) was a multiple first-place
finisher in the women's swimming team's 172-65 win over visiting Youngstown as
she captured the 100 backstroke (1:01.65) and the 200 individual medley (2:15.15).
She was also a member of the winning 200 medley-relay squad.
