Rob Schroeder (East Rochester, NY/East Rochester) of the football team recorded a career-high six tackles, including five solos, in Saturday's game at Akron. The redshirt freshman defensive lineman also registered two quarterback sacks as the Bulls recorded a season-best five in the game. Among his six tackles, 3.5 were for losses. Schroeder has 33 tackles this season and leads the team with 4.5 sacks.

 

Photo of Lindsay Matikosh Lindsay Matikosh (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) of the women's volleyball team became the fourth player in UB history to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career. The junior led the Bulls with 14 kills and 19 digs in a five-game loss to MAC East Division leader Akron. She also led the squad with nine kills, 16 digs and three blocks against Bowling Green on Friday. For the season, she leads the Bulls with 420 kills and 420 digs.
