ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

P.J. Piskorik (Swoyersville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) of the football team rushed for a career-high 85 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown and threw for a season-best 122 yards to pace the Bulls to a 36-6 win over Central Michigan on Saturday. Piskorik turned in a career-long rush of 34 yards in the game and capped off a drive with a four-yard touchdown run somersaulting into the end zone.

Jenny Koeppel (Amherst, NY/Amherst) of the women's cross country team finished ninth among 230 runners at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships and earned an at-large berth to next week's NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, IN. Koeppel completed the 6K course in the Bronx in 20:59.7, gaining All-Northeast honors for the second consecutive season. Earlier in the week, she was named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference team.
