ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Dan Bulley (Exeter, England/St. Peter’s) of the men's soccer team scored both goals in UB's 2-1 victory at defending Mid-American Conference champion Northern Illinois, including the game-winner in overtime. Bulley netted his team-best seventh goal of the season four minutes into the extra session to give the Bulls their fifth overtime win in 2007, setting a school record for OT victories.

Denise Harijanto (Jakarta, Indonesia) of the women's tennis team went 3-1 at the ITA Regional Championships, advancing into the main singles draw and securing a pair of victories in the qualifying round. Harijanto scored a 6-0, 6-0 win over Caitlin White of Towson in her first match in the main draw, her third victory of the weekend, before falling to 10th-seeded Janet Kim of Yale in the second round.
