ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Athletes of the Week - 10/12/1998

Fullback Josh Roth (Conewango Valley, NY/Pine Valley) led the UB Bulls football squad to a record setting 628 yards of total offense in a 47-0 thrashing of visiting Canisius. Roth totaled a career-high 111 yards on 17 carries and found the endzone for the ninth time this season.

For the women's soccer team, sophomore Paula Listrani (Rochester, NY/ Greece-Athena) scored the winning goal (3-2) in overtime on a penalty kick for Coach Jean Tassy's team. The goal against Mid-American Conference rival Western Michigan, was her third game winner of the 1998 campaign.
