Bill Norberg (Allison Park, PA/Shaler) of the men's soccer team scored two goals off direct free kicks within a fifty second span to key the Bulls to a 3-2 win over 23rd-ranked Marsha
ll. Norberg's two goals gave the Bulls a 2-1 lead after falling behind early in the first half. For the season, the senior leads the team with three goals and six points.
Michaela Kollarova (Slovak Republic/Bratislava) of the women's tennis team won the New York State Championship at second singles at the competition in Binghamton. Kollarova, a f
reshman, took the title defeating Dowling's Jackie Legnon 6-3, 6-0. She went 4-0 in the two-day tournament without losing a set. For the fall season, she is 6-2 in singles play.
