Athletes of the Week - 09/28/1998
Junior flanker Drew Haddad (Cleveland/St. Ignatius) grabbed 11 passes against the University of Massachusetts, matching his career-high, totaled 173 yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion in a 51-27 loss to the Minutemen on Saturday (9/26). The TD grab covered 29 yards and pulled the Bulls to within 21-20 midway in the second quarter.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia)
made 10 saves against Miami of Ohio in a double-overtime scoreless tie and also
made five saves earlier in the week as the Bulls defeated Duquesne, 2-0. The
shutouts were Jamie's second and third of the season.
