Andrae Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica/DeWitt Clinton)
of the men's soccer team scored the
game-winning goal in UB's 2-1 victory over regionally-ranked Colgate on Friday. It was the junior forward's fourth goal of
the season and extended a six-match streak with at least one point. With his nine assists this season, Clarke leads
the nation in assists per game at 1.29.
Katrin Fischer (Ternitz,
Austria/Borg) of the women's tennis team scored singles and doubles
championships at the Bowling Green Invitational with perfect 3-0 records in both classes. Fischer did not lose a set
in her three singles matches to win the third flight. She also combined with
Miglena Nenova (Rousse,
Bulgaria/Eurointellect) to win the second doubles flight.
