Athletes of the Week - 09/13/1998
Junior fullback Josh Roth (Conewango Valley, NY/Pine Valley) had one reception and three rushes for touchdowns to lead the Bulls football team to a 40-17 victory in their home opener against Lock Haven University on Saturday night.
Freshman midfielder Heather Collins (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home)
was named the 1998 Umbro Kickoff Classic Tournament Most Valuable Player and
led the women's soccer team to the tournament title by netting two goals and
having one assist in the 3-1 victory over tourney host Furman, on Friday.
