ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Athletes of the Week - 05/14/2007

Photo of Reggie Rucker Reggie Rucker (Rochester, NY/Edison Tech) of the men's track and field team won two Mid-American Conference titles in his hurdles events, breaking his own UB records in both and setting a Miami track record in one. Rucker won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.05 seconds, cutting two-tenths of a second off his old record. He took the 400-meter hurdles in 50.75 seconds, slicing six-tenths of a second from the record, and earning UB's third 400-meter hurdles title in four years. He became the first UB athlete to win two MAC titles in one meet.
