ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Chris McGraw (Summerville, SC/Stratford/Coffeyville CC) of the baseball team went 2-0 on the week, earning victories over St. Bonaventure and Ohio. The junior righty allowed one run on three hits and struck out four over four innings against the Bonnies to pick up his first win of the season and followed with seven shutout innings against Ohio in a 4-0 win, allowing four hits. At the plate, McGraw also hit .364 on the week.

Breanne Nasti (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) of the softball team hit .467 for the week with a 1.333 slugging percentage and a .654 on-base percentage in UB's seven games. The senior outfielder was 5-for-6 with five runs scored, eight RBIs, a double and three home runs, including a grand slam, in a doubleheader sweep at Stony Brook. In the weekend series against Western Michigan, she walked in seven of her eight plate appearances on Saturday and then hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh on Sunday to send the game to extra innings.
