Athletes of the Week - 04/05/2004

Rangga Prayudha (Jakarta, Indonesia/ESI International Academy/Ventura College) of the men's tennis team went 2-1 in singles play on the Bulls' three-match Mid-American Conference road trip. Prayudha, playing in the fifth slot, picked up wins over Ryan Orr of IPFW in a tiebreaker and Ball State's Brad Rhodes in straight sets to raise his overall singles record to 16-12, including a 2-2 slate in league play.

 

Jennifer Jezorski (Elmira, NY/Elmira Southside) of the women's track and field team won two races to lead the Bulls to a second-place finish at Ohio University's McDonald's Invitational. Jezorski, a middle-distance runner, won the 1500-meter race in 4:41.74 to slice four seconds off her previous personal best. She also won the 800-meter run in a season-best 2:18.14.
