Mike Rockman (Toronto, Ontario/Thornlea) of the men's tennis team defeated Manhattan's Zolton Bus in a marathon two-set match, 7-5, 6-4. Playing second singles, Rockman outlasted his opponent in a match that lasted more than two hours. The junior won his team-leading 15th singles match of the season. In three season, Rockman ranks third on UB's Division I-era victories list with 62 career wins.

Andreea Novaceanu (Bucharest, Romania/Emil Racovita) of the women's tennis team broke her own school record by notching her 20th and 21st singles victories over the weekend to become UB's single-season leader in the category. The 21 wins eclipses the previous record of 19 victories set by Novaceanu as a freshman in the 2004-05 campaign. In two seasons with the Bulls, Novaceanu has compiled a singles record of 40-10 and is also 26-11 in doubles play.
