Athletes of the Week - 03/13/2000

Charlie Smilinich (Ft. Drum, NY/Ft. Drum) of the baseball team scored two runs in the Bulls' 6-2 win over Sacred Heart March 10. The centerfielder leads the Bulls in hitting at .325. He also tops the club in hits (13), runs (8), and doubles (3).

Katie Scott (Salamanca, NY/Salamanca) of the women's track and field team set a school record of 1:01.84 in winning the 400 meter hurdles in the Coastal Carolina University Spring Break Classic. The meet opened the Bulls' outdoor season. Scott broke her own previous school record of 1:02.75 set last season.
