Desi Green (Henrietta, NY/Rush Henrietta) of the wrestling team remained undefeated against Mid-American Conference opposition with his 16-5 victory over Kent State's Jeremy Depoy. Green, wrestling at 149 pounds, controlled the entire match to earn the major decision for the Bulls. He is currently tied for 11th place for most dual meet wins in a season with 15 and is one win away from 15th place for most overall wins in a season at 31.
Kourtney Brown (Solon, OH/Solon) of the women's basketball team went for a career-high 31 points against Ball State becoming the first player to eclipse the 30-point mark in nearly six years. Brown completed the double-double with 11 rebounds and also added four blocked shots. The sophomore forward also scored 20 points with eight rebounds and pair of steals against Toledo. Brown averaged 25.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 3.0 bpg as she now has nine 20-point games on the season and five double-doubles.
