Athletes of the Week - 02/09/2004
 Mark McKnight (McDonald, PA/South
Fayette) of the wrestling team won an impressive 8-4
victory over Central Michigan's Kyle Stoffer, ranked 19th nationally at 125 pounds in the latest Amateur
Wrestling News' individual rankings. McKnight, a freshman, recorded two takedowns, a two-point near fall and
two escapes in the match and moved to 26-6 overall this season.
Ashlee Burton (Franklin, IN/Franklin
Community) of the women's swim team won three diving
events over the weekend, including establishing a new six-dive record on the one-meter board. Burton swept the
one- and three-meter heights in UB's 164-136 win over Bowling Green, then followed with a record-setting
275.25 point performance to take the one-meter title as the Bulls cruised to the UB Invitational crown.
