Athletes of the Week - 02/01/1999
Dan Hickey (Brockport, NY/Brockport) led Coach Budd Termin's squad in a loss to Miami (OH) (133-102) with wins in the 100 (46.85) and 200 freestyles (1:41.61). He was also a memeber of the victorious 400 freestyle squad.
Tiffany Bell (Alexandria, VA/Hayfield) continues to lead the
UB women's basketball team with her strong play as she scored 15 points and
grabbed eight rebounds in a 76-59 loss to Marshall. She also had 16 points and
10 rebounds in the 63-58 win over Western Michigan, and 11 points and 8 rebounds
against Ball State (71-63).
