David Guarino (Derby, NY/Lake Shore) of the wrestling team won his weight class at the New York State Collegiate Championships. The 165-pound senior finished with a perfect 5-0 mark, earning his first career tournament championship. For the season, Guarino is 17-9 overall and 6-4 in dual meet competition.

Sarah Fletcher (Ridgeway, Ontario/Ridgeway-Crystal Beach) of the women's indoor track and field team won two events at the Cornell Invitational to lead the Bulls to a second place finish. The senior qualified for ECAC competition with a winning toss of 54-11.5 (16.75m) in the 20-pound weight throw. She also placed first in the shot put with a mark of 42-4.75 (12.92m).
