Harold Sherrell (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool)
of the wrestling team earned his second-straight
victory over a nationally-ranked opponent as he downed UNC-Greensboro's Tyler Shovlin, 5-2, in the
heavyweight bout of the match. Sherrell improved his 2005-06 record to 24-4 and is ranked 16th in his weight class by
the National Wrestling Coaches

Jen Jezorski (Elmira, NY/Elmira
Southside) of the women's track and field team broke the
school record to win the 1,000-meter run at the Kent State Black Squirrel Classic. Jezorski turned in a 2:52.06 to
better Christina Keck's 2001 record by more than two seconds and improve on her own personal best by three
seconds. Jezorski also qualified for the ECAC Championships in March with her performance.
