ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Ezekiel Porter (Rochester, NY/East) of the men's track team won two individual events and was also part of a winning relay team as the Bulls opened the indoor season with a second-place finish at the Akron Quad Meet. Porter took the 60-meter dash in 6.89 seconds and also won the 200-meter dash in 21.59, qualifying for the IC4A Championships in both events. He was also part of UB's victorious 4x400-meter relay squad.

Meili Carpenter (Boulder, CO/Fairview) of the women's swimming and diving team won two diving events against Binghamton and one event against Toledo. Against Binghamton, she scored 281.70 points for her six-dive program in the one-meter event and 289.35 points in the three-meter competition. In the Toledo meet, she took the three-meter competition with a six-dive total of 301.15 points and finished second on the one-meter board by a point and a half.
