Josh States (Lockport, NY/Lockport) of the wrestling team went undefeated at 184 pounds for the Bulls in their four matches at Clarion and the Buckeye Duals. States earned a 4-2 decision over his Clarion opponent on Friday and then pinned Cleveland State's Brian Hassenen 1:01 into the match to lead the Bulls to a 34-10 win over the Vikings Saturday in the opening round of the Buckeye Duals. He also earned decision wins over his opponents from Chattanooga and Ohio State. For the season, States is 16-3 overall and 8-1 in dual meet competion.

Tiffany Bell (Alexandria, VA/Hayfield) of the women's basketball team averaged 14 points and 10.5 rebounds to lead the Bulls to a pair of MAC wins over Miami and Akron. She is now tied for first on UB's career free throws made list with 345 and tied for sixth with 684 career rebounds. Bell has also scored in double figures in 26 straight games. For the season, Bell leads the Bulls with 17.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
