ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Mickey Moran (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) of the wrestling team went 5-0 in his bouts during the week as the Bulls captured four out of five matches. The 184-pounder pinned West Liberty State's J.D. Ramsey at the 6:36 mark of the bout to help the Bulls to a 32-3 win over the Hilltoppers. For the season, the junior is now 21-6 in his matches this season and has now captured 54 career victories.

Jessica Fortman (Ashland, KY/Russell) of the women's basketball team scored a career-high 21 points in UB's 78-65 win over Bucknell to complete the Bulls' non-conference schedule. Fortman, a freshman forward, was 9-of-13 from the field against the Bison and pulled down six rebounds, while nailing all three of her free throw attempts. She also added three assists in 28 minutes of action. For the season, she is fifth on the squad in scoring at 6.5 ppg and third in rebounding at 4.3 rpg.
