1. How did you choose Buffalo, coming all the way from Colorado?

I chose Buffalo because I liked the coaching staff and my teammates were awesome when I came on my visit. I also loved the campus and how big it was.

2. What do you think about the fact that there are six athletes from Colorado on the Buffalo roster? That’s even more than are from New York.

I think it’s awesome. We all have something in common and we can all relate to certain things. We’ve all played against each other and have become really good friends here.

3. What is your favorite thing about Buffalo?

I like how big the campus is here and I like that everyone from Buffalo knows UB.

4. What was it like going back to Colorado to play in the Air Force Invitational?

It was really fun. My family and friends from high school got to see me. My grandparents haven’t seen me play in a really long time so it was a really great experience and I think we played really well.

5. What are you most looking forward to in your junior season?

Winning and coming together as a team. I want to take on a bigger role this year.

6. The team went 1-15 in the conference and 2-31 overall last season? Are there any major changes you or the team is making to improve your record?

We're playing more as a unit and building stronger friendships. I think that will help us a lot this year.

7. Last season you were a UB scholar athlete. Is it hard to keep up with your studies and play Division I volleyball?

Yes and no. Yes because you miss a lot of class but no, if you stay on top of things and work really hard, and have good communication with your teachers.

8. Tell me about your career aspirations of becoming a weathergirl?

I always liked the weather and science. I used to pretend I was one and it’s just something I’ve wanted to be ever since I was a little girl.

9. How does it feel to move into the starting line up this year as the teams starting libero?

It feels good. I stayed here over the summer and worked really hard. I lifted a lot and played a lot with the girls and I think I bring great energy to the team so it feels really good.

10. What has been your favorite moment as a student athlete here at UB?

When we beat Syracuse my freshman year because everyone was really excited about the game and everyone wanted to beat them and when we did…it was just a really great moment for me.
